The Fleur de Lis signifies life, light, and perfection. It’s origin is the white Lily. In ancient times the white lily was associated with several mother goddesses, including the Greek goddess, Hera. It is used to represent Royalty or a noble family. It is also a symbol of the Templars. The fleur de Lis is the symbol of my last name - which was originally spelled de Lis and was changed to Deliz when my family seeked asylum in the Spanish side of the Pyrenees running away from France.
